Hubby had the day off of work today and Daughter had no school. So instead of staying cooped up in the house we set off for the Georgia Aquarium. None of us had ever been. Daughter was so excited. She is like her daddy, she loves animals, pets, fish, wildlife, you name it. Definitely not like her mama - I'm more of an indoor girl myself. Well the Aquarium did not disappoint! She had so much fun! She especially enjoyed the 3D movie. She was so cute - sitting there in her special glasses, reaching out to touch the fish leaping towards her. They even misted us with water throughout the movie, and she thought that was the greatest. It was definitely a fun family outing. We dragged Son along for the ride. He did pretty good, although I don't think he was a big fan. Here's some pictures from our day!
Here's Daughter in the 3D Theater, ready to enjoy the show.

Trying to touch the jellyfish

Checkin' out the fishies in the tunnel. She loved seeing the fish swim above her.
Here's what Son thought of the tunnel. His look says, "Get me out of here Mom, this is freaking me out."

Wrapping up our visit by petting some stingrays
All in all, a fun trip!

What a great time!!
What a great place to take children! It is great that you had this family experience. Also, it's wonderful that all children have a place like this to go. What special memories you will always have from this wonderful day.
