So last night was our Christmas gathering with Hubby's family. We had a great time! We had a yummy dinner out (Thanks Grandad!) then we were off to open some gifts and eat some Christmas candy and cake. Daughter did pretty good opening the first four or five gifts, after that, it was like sensory overload. She would play with a new toy for a few seconds and then out of the corner of her eye she would spot something else and dart off to that. It was so much fun watching her open her gifts. There were gasps of excitement, the sounds of little hands clapping, and the sounds of giggles rising up from her little belly. Her last gift was a Sit-N-Spin from Mimi and Grandad. She couldn't quite get the hang of it right away. So instead of using it for it's intended use, Grandad and Uncle B just spun her around until she couldn't stand up. She had so much fun with that! She had so much fun showing Uncle B her toys. Almost everything she opened, she would take it over to him and say, "Try it, Uncle B, Try it!!" There were tears when we left, of course. Grandad helped us to the car, and she was so mad that she had to leave, that she didn't even say goodbye to him.
Thank you Grandad, Mimi, Uncle B & Aunt H for a great Christmas! Currently, Daughter and Hubby are at home, discovering her new toys!
**Again, no pictures...till I have time to upload. Sorry!**
